Refund policy

When you use the services of Appliance Fix Experts, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. These Terms of Service are important and override any other general terms. Please read them carefully before you continue. The agreement between Appliance Fix Experts (the “Company”) and the customer listed in the service request (the “Customer”) is based on these conditions.

At Appliance Fix Experts, we strive to diagnose and fix problems on our first visit. We are not liable for any losses or damages due to delays or wrong diagnoses. If we cannot resolve the issue, or if a replacement part does not work, we will either fix the problem again or replace the part if needed.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic damages, or for any loss of or damage to your property, unless otherwise required by law. We also do not cover any defects that are part of a manufacturer’s or distributor’s recall or that are covered by their internal warranty or refund programs.

Diagnostic fee

The diagnostic fee is non-refundable. The Appliance Fix Experts team performs many diagnostics each day because some appliances cannot be repaired due to wear and tear, misuse, or other factors. We offer this service to determine if your appliance is repairable. If you decide to go ahead with the repair, we will waive the diagnostic fee. By ordering diagnostics, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation of spare parts orders

To provide complete service, you may need to order replacement parts. If you cancel a part order, Appliance Fix Experts will charge you 30% of the part’s cost plus $30 for shipping and handling, in addition to the diagnostic fee, which will be deducted from your deposit. This Policy follows the Supplier’s Terms and Conditions and helps cover cancellation costs. You can cancel your order within 15 minutes of placing it without any fees. By ordering parts, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Repairs completed more than 3 months ago

If a repair was completed over 3 months ago and the provided Warranty has expired, refunds cannot be issued as per the Terms of Service. To address new issues, please schedule another appointment with Appliance Fix Experts.

Misdiagnosis

If you think Appliance Fix Experts made a mistake in their diagnosis, keep the receipt from our technician. To back up your claim, get a document from another service provider showing a different issue. Also, save receipts for any parts that were replaced. We will start the refund process if we find our original diagnosis was wrong.

Labor refund

After repairs are finished and both the technician and the customer confirm they are working, the repairs are complete, billed, and covered by the Warranty. Once confirmed, labor costs cannot be refunded. If any problems happen after the repairs, the Warranty will apply.

Refusal of warranty visit

Following repair completion, Appliance Fix Experts provides up to a 3-month warranty. If a Customer declines a warranty visit for recurring or new issues, no refunds for labor, parts, or associated costs can be provided, as we cannot verify the issue’s origin or relation to the previous repair.

Unavailable parts or non-repairable appliances

Appliance Fix Experts works hard to find replacement parts quickly. However, if parts are difficult to find or too expensive, the company is not responsible for replacing them.

Violation of terms

If a Customer violates any conditions, the Company will attempt to contact the Customer before taking action. However, the Company can suspend or end services right away to protect its interests.
