SUDS
The sign means that you have excess suds in your washer
When you turn on your washer, and it returns this code while the cycle is on it means the dedicated sensor detects excess suds. Your appliance switches into the suds removal mode, pumps clean water into the tub with clean water, then drains it again, and tumbles down the washed garments. However, the routine described may not get rid of all the suds. In this case, the machine will return his code again. To avoid a situation like this, we would advise you to add a correct amount of quality detergents when you are going start a new washing cycle.
F0 E1
This malfunction occurs when you try to launch a cleaning cycle but have a load in your machine drum
To eliminate the issue, remove all the garments or other items from the washer. If you intend to run a cleaning cycle, free your machine of any load inside the drum.
F1 E1
This error code indicates a failure in the main electronic control unit
To fight this malfunction, try to disconnect your washing appliance from the mains for at least 5 minutes and thus reset the electronics after your restore power supply. If your appliance lights up this error code anyway after you restore normal power supply, it looks like you would want to replace the main electronic control unit.
F1 E2
This code means that there is some issue with the drive control unit
Start with disconnecting your washer from the mains grid. Then, examine all the wires and check how firmly they are connected to the drive control unit. If all the connections are firm in place and secure and you see no issues with the them, it would be wise to replace your old drive control unit with the new one.
F2 E3
This code is returned when an incorrect main electronic control unit is installed in the washer or its failure
To fight this error code, you will have to order and install the appropriate main electronic control unit. However, if you haven’t replaced the main board, but the code is returned anyway, the high chance is that the main electronic control unit has failed and you have to replace it with a new one.
F3 E1
Your washer will return this code when the water-level pressure switch fails
First, do not forget to disconnect your appliance from the mains grid. After that, examine the wires connecting the pressure switch and the main electronic control unit. In case you see some loose wires, put them back in place. There is a chance that your electric harness is broken. If it is, think of replacing it with a new one. Chances are high that your washer has a fit wire harness. In that case, you should replace the faulty water-level pressure switch with a new one.
F3 E2
If you see this error, your washer has a temperature sensor malfunction
First, disconnect the washer from the mains grid. Then, examine the wire harness leading to the thermistor. In case the wires are in good condition, it would be necessary to replace the faulty temperature sensor with the new one.
F4 E0
Your washer probably has a faulty water heater
Check if your appliance is disconnected from the mains and examine the wiring harness leading to the heater. Chances are that the electric harness is OK. If it is, you have to deal with a failing heater, so think of replacing your faulty heater with a new one.
F5 E1
The error code of this kind means that you have to do with the faulty door switch
The code appears on the display in case the main electronic control unit cannot see the door switch engagement for 3 consecutive door openings. That means the door switch failed to operate properly. You can also see the code when the door switch is activated with the door closed. In this situation, the door lock or switch needs replacement.
F5 E2
The code goes on in case your washer cannot lock the door
Disconnect the washing machine from the mains grid and inspect the door lock unit for any possible damage. You may also want to test all wiring connections leading to the lock. It would be a good idea to see if no debris has stuck in the door lock unit. If you see something that does not belong to the lock assembly, remove that thing. In case you see no damage to the wiring and no debris in the lock, it is the lock unit or switch that needs replacement.
F5 E3
Your washer will return this code if it detects a door unlock error
In this case, you cannot unlock the washer. Disconnect the washer from the mains grid and inspect the door lock unit for any damage. You may also want to look for any loose wires leading to the door lock. In case the wiring is in good condition, it is the faulty door/lock switch that needs replacement.
F6 E1
The code shows some communication error occurring between the main electronic control unit and the drive control unit
Disconnect the washing machine from the mains grid and examine the wire harness connecting the main electronic control unit and the drive control unit. If you see some loose wires, reconnect them back in place. If the wire harness is damaged, you need to replace it. In case all the wiring is in place and in good condition, chances are high that the drive control unit is malfunctioning and needs replacement. If you see this code after you have replaced the drive control unit, you will have to replace the main electronic control unit with the new one to solve the issue.
F6 E2 or F6 E3
If your washer returns this code, it indicates some communication failure between the main electronic control unit and the washer control panel
Disconnect the washing machine from the mains grid and inspect the wire harness connecting the washer control panel and the main electronic control unit. Look for any loose wires and connect them back in place. In case you see any damage to the wire harness, replace it with a new one. In case the problem persists, call a specialist to replace the main electronic control unit.Book online
F7 E1
The washer signals that its drive tachometer is faulty
Disconnect the washer from the mains grid and examine the wiring harness connecting the drive control unit and the drive itself. You may also want to inspect the wire harness connecting the drive control unit with the main electronic control unit. If you see any loose wires, reconnect them back in place. In case the wire harnesses are damaged, it needs replacement. However, if the wiring is in good condition and operates well, test if the spin drum rotation is smooth. If you see any jerks and hear any friction sounds while it’s moving, you may want to check if nothing is caught between the tub and the drum, obstructing its smooth rotation. At this point, you have two options left if the drum rotates as it should: either you replace the drive, or you replace the drive control unit if the issue persists.
F7 E2
The washer will return this error code if the drive or drive control unit is overheated
The components may overheat if you overload the machine with washables, and that will cause the washer to return this code. To resolve this issue, remove some items from the drum if there are too many and always load the washer in compliance with recommendations. Another cause of the overheated drive or drive control unit is excess friction in the system. Check if there is nothing stuck between the spin drum and the tub. You may also want to inspect the tub bearing, and if it is worn out or blocked, replace it with a new one. If all of the above is in order, you may need to replace the faulty drive itself or the drive control unit.
F8 E0
You will see this code if the washer detects some kind of steam valve failure
This is when you want to examine the water supply hoses for bends. Inspect the screen at the place where the water supply hoses are connected to the washer and clear it if it is blocked. If all the hoses and connections are in order, you will have to replace the defective steam valve with a new one.
F8 E1
The error code will light on if no water is detected in the tub
In this case, you will want to make sure that water supply taps, to which your washer is connected, are fully open and if there is water in your water supply system. Another reason for this code to appear is the damaged drain system that siphons water out of the washer. Once you have corrected the mentioned problems if any, the water supply should restore, and your washer will be ready to run another cycle.
F8 E2
Once you see this code, your washer has an issue with a dispenser
Most probably the dispenser cannot move into the appropriate position. Disconnect your washer from the mains grid and inspect if the dispenser is mechanically linked to its housing the way it should. Try to repair any damaged parts or replace them or the dispenser itself with a new one.
F8 E3
The washer will display this warning code if water overflows
Disconnect your washing machine from the mains grid and water supply. Inspect the water valve unit for any damage. This assembly is responsible for stopping the water flow once the sufficient level of it is reached. In case the water valve unit is faulty, replace it with a new one. You can also receive this code when your washer is actually empty. This is the case when the water level pressure switch will need replacement.
F8 E4
This code is returned in case the water flow is low
This malfunction happens because the water flow meter detects a long fill time needed for the washer to be full. You will want to check that both water supply taps of your water supply system are fully opened, and your system has a sufficient water pressure level. Another reason for this failure may be in the washer drain system, which may siphon water. You may also want to check the water valve unit. Replace it if it is defective. In case you receive this code, but water flows normally, you will have to replace the water flow meter with a new one.
F9 E1
When you receive this code, it means your washer has detected long drain time
Inspect your washer for excess suds and remove them if revealed, as your washer is not able to drain freely excessively sudsy water. You may also want to check your home drainage for any clogs. It is also advisable to see if no bends happened to the drain hose and if there are no clogs in it. Test the drain pump, and if you see it defective, replace it with a new one. However, if you see the washer drains the way it should, it means that the water level pressure switch cannot accurately detect the water level and needs replacement.

I forget the gentleman’s name that came out on Saturday morning of a long weekend, but thank you. He was great fast and detailed about the issues with our washing machine, only problem was it cost almost as much to repair as buy a new one, it was about 13 years old I kinda figured it was time.
I would definitely call them again in the future with any issues.

The service sent us a specialist to repair our Samsung dryer, and he deserved a five-star review. He quickly found where the problem was (a detail near the thermostat), got the spare one, and replaced it fast. Also, he issued a warranty for it, which I hope we will not need, but anyway. Great job!
