I contacted the company over multiple concerns with my washing machine. The technician called in advance to let me know his arrival time. Was prompt, polite, and competent. His was able to provide an on spot estimate for repairs and gave me my options and his opinion when I asked for it. He was honest and helpful. I made the decision to not move forward with repair cost and purchase new. His honesty helped me make the right decision. I have no hesitation in recommending their service and will have them back in the near future to assess my refrigerator

The technician arrived within a few hours and seemed very thorough in diagnosing the issue. He determined that there was a short in the compressor and provided a general repair estimate. My only minor feedback is that communication was sometimes a little difficult due to a language barrier, and I didn’t receive a written estimate for the repair — only the receipt for the diagnostic visit.

The drainage pump on the dishwasher was not working so I called the Appliance Experts who set up a setrvice date promptly at my covenience . The serviceman Abrahim quickly diagnosed that the pump had to be replaced. This company was misleading regarding service fees and labour charges. While my dishwasher is fixed, I was not provided with a written cost of repair nor an invoice until after I provided my credit card information. When I called the office to request clarification on my invoice, the rep would not provide a specific labour rate, instead stating it depended on the job. While my dishwasher was fixed in a timely manner, I suggest customers obtain a written quote beforehand.

2024-08-15 called – used web form – for washing machine past extended warranty and damaged by flood that flooded all of Lewisville. Appointment set for next day. Repairman very polite, efficient, very good explanation. Unit is 11 years old and likely water got onto a printed circuit. Should have left it to dry three days. Do that now and then try again. Only two printed circuits and one is no longer provided by Samsung (discontinued part) and the other is $800 installed. Better to replace than repair if drying does not work. He will call back in five days to see if that worked. $149 total charge. Astonishingly excellent service. He did note that “all my calls this week seem to be about flooded appliances”

Appliance Fix Experts customer service department reached out to address my concerns. They apologized for the technician’s behavior and poor diagnosis. They offered to refund me the full amount which we paid for the diagnosis. As a gesture of goodwill, they also gifted me a discount coupon. I appreciate their efforts to make things right and would now consider using their service again in future. ——————————————————————— “We recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with a technician from Appliance Fix expert. My refrigerator was malfunctioning so we scheduled a service call. He was rude and dismissive from the beginning and conducted a hasty diagnosis. He said there was a major issue with the compressor and it is irreparable. He left saying no one can fix this issue and we should get a new refrigerator. However, when we booked another diagnostic appointment with other company they found out the problem was simply with the fan which was not able to blow air properly. After rellacing the fan our refrigerator is working great. I escalated this matter to the manager asking for refund for false diagnosis and the harassment I was met with complete silence. This lack of commitment and accountability is unacceptable.I am deeply disappointed with both the technicians unprofessional conduct and company’s failure to address my concern.”

Update: Eugene called me and sent the technician again to make sure the problem was fixed. I appreciate his professionalism and service is now a 5 star. Used their services last month. I paid $220 to fix a refrigerator leak, technician cleared off ice for 15 min. The fridge is still leaking. I called them on Monday morning to see what we can do and was told they will talk to the technician and call me back in the afternoon. No call back Monday. No call back Tuesday. I called Wednesday and my number was clearly screened because no answer. I called from a different number and got a call back within minutes. Then they realized it was me calling and they still haven’t gotten a hold of the e technician an to see what the can do. 4 days later and I’m still waiting. They cal you after your service is done and offer you $30 to leave them a 5 star review. So clearly their customer service is NOT a priority. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews only positive ones but people need to know to stay AWAY from this call center company that sends 3rd party technicians and don’t want to resolve issues.

The technician Kamal arrived within the scheduled time window and was knowledgable, professional and friendly. Initially a positive experience with a diagnostic visit for my fridge. But I needed to get my landlord’s authorization because the repair quote was higher than expected, so I couldn’t book the repair then and there. At least a dozen attempts on my end to schedule the repair and nothing. They don’t answer. Tried calling from a different number and they answered, said they would tell the tech to call me, only to hear nothing. Given the lack of responsiveness I would like to get a refund on the service call, but I don’t expect I could even get a hold of someone to ask…
